Tariq Shafi, CPA

Mr. Shafi has over thirty years of accounting, auditing and tax experience in the Washington metro area and London, England. He was a tax and accounting manager for six years at a prestigious firm in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia before venturing out on his own in 1995. Since then, his practice has grown steadily as word has spread about his firm's high reputation for quality service at a reasonable cost.

Mr. Shafi is an adjunct professor of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation at Stratford University, Virginia. He teaches baccalaureate and masters courses to prepare students for employment opportunities as financial accountants, tax preparers, CPAs and auditors. He is a member of Stratford University’s Graduate Studies Oversight Committee that works closely with local businesses and compares programs to determine how they fit the needs of current and potential students.
